Often newspapers and online resources contain "informational" writing that strays from the usual, in format, language, context or content, Sometimes we read "true" things that really are stranger than fiction, or the voice in the writing stands out as its own active character. You can use these "found" pieces as a way into your own art!
Here is an example - read the article linked below.Respond in any way you please. You could write in response to the impression the story has left on you from your perspective or the point of view of a fictional character. You could try out the point of view of one of the "characters" in the story. You could rewrite the story, or a piece of it, with a different voice. No limits in format, as usual - song lyrics, poetry, screenplays - all good:-)
